A free online course on sustainable skills development has been created in the framework of the sustainability project EDU2030
Long-lasting change requires lifelong learning. Creating opportunities to enable young people to learn environmental sustainability has become crucial for the future of our planet. A competence-based education that helps learners develop Sustainability Skills, in fact, can help promote action at local, national and global level.
This is why the project EDU2030 developed a MOOC, Massive Open Online Course, as a result of preliminary research exploring the needs and requirements of the new generations in terms of Green Skills. The MOOC is based on the European Sustainability competent framework, the Green Comp, developed by the European Commission as a basis to guide both educators and learners on sustainability.
The project EDU2030 has as objective to help young people and youth organizations develop key competencies and green skills to be active in the future decisions of the EU concerning the Sustainable Development Goals and sustainability.
