Role Model Erasmus+: apply by 15 March!

1 Mins read

The Italian National Agency Erasmus+ Indire intends to establish, for the 2021-2027 programming period, a network of Role Models connected to the Erasmus+ Program

Role Models are positive reference figures who have been able to capitalize on the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Program to excel in their studies, work, or specific areas (such as environmental sustainability or social inclusion). They have used the program to overcome and face difficult phases, turning them into opportunities for growth and development.

Through the narration of their stories and the sharing of their experiences, Role Models can encourage emulation and promote the ability to overcome challenging situations. The sharing of these stories, during events in higher education institutions, schools, organizations, guidance and reception centers, can indeed be a stimulus for other individuals and institutions.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE ROLE?

Participation is open to all those who are participating or organizing (or have participated/organized in the past) an Erasmus+ project and believe they have an experience to share in one of the four categories mentioned:

  • Primary and secondary school students
  • Students from higher education institutions (Universities, AFAM, ITS)
  • Learners from organizations and entities involved in adult education initiatives
  • Teachers and staff from institutions and universities of all levels

Applications, to be submitted by March 15, will be evaluated by the National Erasmus+ Agency, and the selected Role Models will then be involved in future events. About twenty of them will be invited to present their experience next May at an international event to be held in Florence.
